Media Upload
Upload images and videos for your posts using drag and drop or file picker. The interface validates file formats, sizes, and platform requirements.
Drag and Drop
The quickest way to upload media is by dragging files directly from your computer into the upload area. When a file is dragged over the upload zone, the interface highlights to indicate that it is ready to receive the file.
Once the file is dropped, the upload begins immediately and the media will appear in the preview section.
File Picker
You can also upload media using the file picker if you prefer selecting files manually. Click the upload area to open your device's file browser and choose the files you want to upload.
This option is helpful when browsing folders or selecting specific files from your device.
Carousel Posts
Sparkum allows you to upload multiple images to create carousel-style posts. After uploading your media, you can rearrange the order of images by dragging them into the sequence you want.
Different platforms support different carousel limits.
Platform limits:
Instagram: up to 10 images
Tiktok: up to 35 images
Other platforms such as X, Threads, Bluesky, and Facebook support multiple media uploads depending on their current platform restrictions.
Sparkum will automatically enforce these limits when selecting channels for your post.
Preview
Once your media is uploaded, Sparkum generates a preview so you can review your content before publishing. This allows you to confirm that your images or videos appear correctly and in the right order.
You can also remove or rearrange media directly from the preview area if adjustments are needed.
Supported Formats
Sparkum supports the following file formats across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, Bluesky, YouTube, and Facebook.
Images: JPG, JPEG, PNG
Videos: MP4
File Sizes
Each platform has its own media size limits. For example:
Instagram reels: up to 300MB
Facebook Pages: up to 4GB
Youtube: larger video uploads supported depending on your channel permissions
Sparkum automatically checks file sizes and platform restrictions before publishing and will notify you if a file exceeds the allowed limit.
Media Validation
Before publishing, Sparkum verifies your media to ensure it meets platform requirements. This includes checking file format, size, dimensions, and video duration.
If any requirement is not met, Sparkum will notify you so the issue can be corrected before posting.
