Post Variations
How it works
Sparkum uses a shared "All" tab as the default content for your post. This content is applied to every selected platform unless you choose to customize a specific one.
If you switch to a platform tab (for example Instagram or TikTok), you can modify the content specifically for that platform. When the post is published, each platform receives its own version.
The 'All' Tab
The All tab is the default version of your post.
Anything written here will automatically apply to all selected platforms unless a platform-specific override is created.
For example, you might write a caption in the All tab that works across Instagram, TikTok, and X.
Platform Overrides
If a platform needs different formatting or messaging, you can switch to its tab and edit the content there.
This override only affects that platform.
Other platforms will continue using the content from the All tab.
This is useful when platforms have different styles, character limits, or hashtags.
Resetting
If you want to remove custom edits, you can reset them at any time.
You can:
Click Reset All to Default to remove all platform overrides
Click Set to Default on an individual platform tab to restore the shared content
This will make the platform use the All tab content again.
Per-channel settings
Some platforms allow multiple channels or accounts to be connected. Sparkum allows settings to be customized for each channel individually.
For example, two Instagram accounts connected to the same workspace can still have different publishing settings.
